To better execute the "National Integrated Circuit Industry Advancement Policy", since the first half of 2018, the central government has introduced a series of policies to support the industry’s expansion in IC production layout and enterprises’ ability to innovate. In this year's government report, "Recommendations for Government in 2018", the IC industry has been listed as the top of the five key industries that will accelerate the nation into a manufacturing stronghold. On March 28th, the Ministry of Finance and the other three departments issued the “Notice on the Issues Concerning Enterprise Income Tax Policies for Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Enterprises”. The notice stated that IC companies that meet the relevant requirements can benefit from a 50% reduction in enterprise income tax. (Source: China Industrial Economic Information Network)
